Always in the back of my head...

A very busy bee!

I am still…

so sore from Monday’s workout with Audrey! Damn my thighs hurt so much! Dance last night was a killer. Never in my wildest dreams did I think bending my knees throughout an entire Veracruz dance would kill me as it dad last night! Still suffering today! Gotta keep it up to get these legs in tip top shape! :)

FREE Dodger Dogs Tonight!

Luckily my friend Greg from CSULA, a season ticket holder, kinldy invited me! Guess I’m gonna go see the boys in Blue battle it out with Pittsburg.

Sad note: going to miss a last minute Pasion practice

Vacation comes to an end

Last night I packed my bags, loaded the car, washed the towels, and dishes, cleaned the pool, living room, and dining room in preparation to leave the Hatem residence. Their vacation was my vacation. As they explored the east coast and visited, New York, Boston, Canada, and a few other destinations, I had the privelege of house sitting. I lived at their house for 2 weeks. Some friends came over and we shared a few last laughs with Sara. Cousins, neighbors, and family took advantage of the Hatem’s newly installed pool and spa. Michael and I literally “lived” there. We cooked (he mostly did the cooking on the grill), we cleaned, we washed, we fed Sparky, it was as if it was our own. At first Michael was only going to stay a few nights but after an incident with a peeping neighbor he didn’t see it fit to leave me alone at night. Sparky was great to have around. He was an excellent watch dog, so I felt safe. This was my vacation. I couldn’t really go anywhere but the other side of Alhambra and still be able to go to work. It was a fun experience and I’m glad I accepted the Hatem’s generous invitation.

The Tequila con Limon perforamance was pretty good, despite the fact that I had strep throat. But I got through it. After skipping last week due to my weakness, it’s back to practice tonight! :)

It’s amazing….

…how much influence certain people have on my brother’s life. Don’t let him hear me say I actually think he looks decent, but seriously, c’mon! My mom gave in to his constant nagging! What a weakling! Now she is gonna have to hear it from my Tio Roy, and we all fear him! I’m sure my cousins will defend him especially since they are the ones who kept complimenting Andres on his new look that he would look even better when he got them.

Right now…

I feel like driving super fast (not in my car b/c it is very old &slow),

with the windows down listening to street lights,

wind blowing in my hair,

stunna shades on,

no lip gloss just chalp stick so my hair doesn’t stick to my lips,

feeling no stress, no anxiety, no discomfort… pure joy!!!

2 weeks

Of house sitting is going to be very liberating! I am actually excited to finally get some privacy and get a feel of what it’s like to live on my own. I might feel a little lonely, but thankfully Sparky is always there to keep me company.

Gnite Rudeness…

What sweet words I hear from my dearest mother as I drift off to venture in my dreams…

Daddy saw me this weekend, I know he feels guilty… I miss him though. Damn that replica of the evil step mother from Cinderella, who just so happens to be married to my father!

love this song! (if you listen to it, it’s better)

Let me know
Do I still got time to grow
Things ain’t always set and stone
Let me know, Let me know
Let me
Seems life

Street Lights, glowing
Happen to be just like mornings
Passing, in front of me
So I hopped in
The cab and I paid my fairs
See I know my, destination
But I’m just not there

All the street lights, glowing
Happen to be just like moments
Passing, in front of me
So I hopped in
The cab and I paid my fairs
See I know my, destination
But I’m just not there

In the streets [x2]

I’m just not there
In the streets
I’m just not there
Life’s just not fair

Seems like street lights, glowing
Happen to be just like moments

Lunch with some co-workers

While on my 1 hour lunch break some coworkers and I decided to have lunch at Cuban Bistro. (which was delicious) George called in our order to make sure that we would have enough time… when we got there they took our drink order. Shortly after our food came, they waitress/buss girl forgot to bring us our salads that were included in our lunch special. So George asked that chick what happened to the salads? She replied “Who’s George? He told me to cancel the salads because it would make the $10 special cheaper!” (the special included salad, soda, and entree.) But George never told her anything like that when he called in the order. She then said, so do you want the salads??? (we were almost done with our entrees by this time) And we said yes please. Now I’m wondering if anything happened to our saldas??? They were delicious by the way, but if it costs my a sick day I will not be happy. JK

thank goodness…

The pre-registration stess is over.
